I'm still a kid, I know,
But you're the one who can help me grow...

I fall down bitterly everytime I try,
But you're the one who always says, "Better don't cry"...

I, at times, look at the world blindfolded,
But you're the one who tells me that it may make me wounded...

I'm often rude to you, I know,
But you're the one who has never made me feel low...

I look around to see if somebody's there with me,
And you're the one who has never disappointed me...

I get to the bottom of my life and end goofed up,
But you're the one who has never let me give up...

And that's the only reason why,
I'm still a kid,
But you know,
You're the one who understands me and helps me grow...
